Moruya River - Here We Come

Mark reckons getting our 4 Hansa 303s together for a group photo is harder than rounding up sheep

See Mark - just wait until there is less breeze and they will all come home - pumping their rudders behind them

Last Monday we were delighted to welcome the Narooma High School students and our friends from Life Without Barriers to our new sailing venue at Moruya Public Wharf. Peter Ward was able to be lifted by the C Crane into the boat - thanks to Eurobodalla Shire Council for organising to have that mount installed. We also had the chance to meet Dennis and Lee, both older gentlemen who came to see what Sailability is all about. Lee confessed to me that for 97 years he had been planning to experience sailing (no - that is not a type error, Lee had been looking forward to this experience for 97 years!) After climbing into our Hansa 303 "Poppy", ablely skippered by Alistair, Lee can now tick that one off his bucket list.

Our Seal of Approval

19th December and our last sailing day for the year. Even our visitors enjoyed being in the water.
