Sailability Batemans Bay is a not for profit volunteer-based
branch of Sailability NSW and embraces recreation,
therapeutic and competitive activities.
Sailing is one of very few sports in which able-bodied and
disabled sailors participate on equal terms.
Sailability seeks to enrich the lives of people challenged by physical and/or intellectual disability, the elderly, and the financially and socially disadvantaged.
Our Hansa dinghies are stable and purpose-built for disabled use.
Imagine the thrill of sailing for people who have no sight, or of sailing a boat at speed
even though they can't walk, or of joining in a sport where deafness doesn't matter.
We welcome all new sailors.
We meet on the foreshore at Nelligen, adjacent to the boat ramp, from 10.30am to 3.30pm (weather permitting)
